Welcome to Lacuisine
We’re thrilled to be hosting you and your family or friends soon. We aim to make your stay as pleasant as possible. To help you explore the region, we’ve prepared our digital ‘Adventures in the Gaume‘ guide, packed with tips. You’ll also find over 100 hikes on the Komoot app and some really fun self-guided audio tours on izi.TRAVEL.
About your stay
provides essential information about the house, including the Wi-Fi code, where to find things, and how to sort rubbish. Enjoy flexible self-check-in from 4 p.m. on your arrival day. You can open the front door using the keypad next to the doorbell with your personal code, which we’ll send you three days before your arrival.
Check-out is by 12 noon on your departure day. Please leave the house clean and tidy, sort your rubbish into the correct bins and close all windows and doors. Please feel free to run the dishwasher one last time; we’ll happily unload it for you.

The Gaume – also known as ‘the Belgian province’ – is a beautiful, yet lesser-known, region. Our home is nestled within the stunning Parc National de la Vallée de la Semois, offering unparalleled access to nature. Nearby, you’ll find beautiful hikes in the forests around Florenville, Martué, Herbeumont, and Orval. Prefer something cultural? Within an hour’s drive of Lacuisine, you’ll find many beautiful cities and exciting museums, such as World Heritage City Luxembourg, the medieval town of Bouillon, or magnificent Bastogne. You’ll also find excellent museum parks and other attractions nearby to suit your interests.

Route description from Neufchâteau:
- Follow the N85 direction Cheravoie / Florenville (names: Chau. de Florenville – Grand Route – Rue de la forêt – Rue de la Goutelle).
- Turn right into the Rue des Aubépines at the sign “Au Coeur de Lacuisine”.
- Turn immediately left again into Rue du Chêne (courtyard). la trottinette is the furthest house.
- Park in front of the house and start your holiday.
Route description from Florenville:
- Follow the N85 (Rue des îles and then Rue de Neufchatêau) until you reach the church in Lacuisine.
- Keep the church on your right hand side.
- Just after passing the church, turn left into the Rue des Aubépines (When you see the sign ‘Au coeur de Lacuisine’ on your right).
- Turn left again into the courtyard. la trottinette is the furthest house.
- Park in front of the house and start your holiday.
