Welcome to la trottinette, your cosy holiday home in Lacuisine, Florenville, located in the beautiful Gaume region. Whether you’re planning a peaceful retreat, a family getaway, or an active trip with friends, our holiday home offers the perfect setting.

Choose between two charming stays:

  • Arel (6 people)
  • D’Gaume (5 people)

Are you travelling with a larger group? Book the combo option and enjoy the entire property (max. 11 guests) while keeping the privacy of separate living areas.

With nature at your doorstep and plenty of local experiences to discover, la trottinette is the perfect base for your next adventure.

Rates and booking conditions

  • Transparent pricing: No seasonal surcharges – our rates stay the same all year.
  • All-inclusive: Prices include tourist tax, VAT, and final cleaning.
  • Minimum stay: 2 nights.
    • During school holidays, a minimum stay of 7 nights applies.
    • Long stays: Enjoy a 10% discount on stays of 7 nights or more.

Security Deposit

  • € 250 per stay
  • Refunded via bank transfer (within 2 weeks after departure).
  • Maximum guests: Arel (6), D’Gaume (5), total 11 people (including children & babies). For safety reasons, exceeding this number is not allowed. 
  • Pets are not allowed.

Payment and Cancellation Terms

Payment

Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. 

Cancellation Policy

  • Free cancellation up to 1 month before arrival.
  • 50% charge for cancellations up to 2 weeks before arrival.
  • No refund for cancellations within 2 weeks of arrival.

Before Your Stay

Check-in & Check-out

  • Check-in: from 4:00 pm.
    • Want to arrive earlier? Early check-in available from midday (€50 per holiday home).
  • Check-out: by midday.
    • Want to extend your stay? Late check-out available until 6:00 pm (€50 per holiday home).

Key Collection

  • You’ll receive a personal access code for the front door.
  • Garage keys will be waiting inside.

House Rules

  • Quiet hours: Please keep noise levels low before 7:00 am and after 10:00 pm.
  • Smoking: Not allowed indoors.
  • Pets: Not allowed.
  • Waste sorting: Recycling bins are available – we’ll handle the rest.

  • Fully equipped kitchen (including salt, pepper, coffee, tea, oil, washing-up liquid).
  • Bed linen & towels (2 per guest).
  • Entertainment: Free WiFi, board games & access to streaming services.
  • For children: Selection of toys & books.
  • Baby facilities: 2 travel cots & 2 high chairs (on request).
  • Shops & restaurants nearby in Florenville.

Parking & Storage

  • 2 to 3 private parking spaces in front of the house.
  • Additional free parking available in the village.

🔧 Storage & Maintenance

  • Secure bike & motorbike storage in our spacious garage.
  • Coat racks, hose & tools for small repairs.

⚡ Electric Vehicle Charging

  • Available for an additional fee (more info here).
  • Charging via the regular electrical network is not allowed.
